There is no doubt it is still a very difficult market to read but the South West has seen a good selection of property coming to the market over the last few months.

 Bristol city in particular has experienced a high level of activity with a large number of top end properties becoming available. As always the premium properties priced correctly are being snapped up. Those vendors hoping to achieve that little bit extra are being forced to sit and wait or are having to reduce their prices as there is still not enough buyer confidence to create that competitive market that we have experienced in the past.

 However this said there are definitely more buyers coming to the market and taking advantage of those houses that are now being sold by people who have been waiting ‘for the right time to sell’.

 People always need to buy and sell property for lifestyle reasons. Sensibly priced properties will sell in this market which makes now an exciting time for buyers as for the first time in a long time vendors have become more realistic and are willing to take offers on their properties ,especially if the vendors themselves are buying and selling in the same market.
